When is a good time to travel ?
You can travel to Punta Allen year-round, the hottest months are July and August and from December to May the climate is dry and warm. For the high season on Christmas, Eastern or mexican summerholidays in July and August you should reserve in advance.

Can I pay by credit card ?
No, we don’t accept credit cards, so bring enough cash, there is no ATM in Punta Allen.

What should I bring ?
People find it useful to bring a flashlight, sunprotection, fishing gear, moskito repellent and snorkel equipment. A good book if you like to read and enough cash.

How can I get there ?
You can book a pick up in Tulum, Playa del Carmen or Cancun with us and the driver will be glad to pick you up with our comfortable van. You can also rent a car a drive down by your own. You don’t need a jeep or a 4 wheel drive, just calculate enough of time and drive carefully. There is also a public transport (Minibus) once a day leaving Tulum on the main taxi station at 2pm, the cost is 200 Pesos per person.
